What's Happenin' at PHM
Happy New Year from the Potter's House Ministries!
The Potter's House Ministries and Sciotoville Church of The Nazarene would like to thank Necco Foster Care, Oasis, Cornerstone Nazarene, Rebecca Milness, Scioto Shoe Mart Portsmouth, Shoes That Fit Portsmouth, CareSource, and Ali Mac Discount Variety Store for providing gifts for the children in our community this past Christmas season. Without you, Christmas would have been bleak for a lot of families. This year, all of the children received new coats, shoes, socks, hats, gloves, and scarves. We served almost 300 children this time around.
Also, thank you to all the families who picked a name(s) from the Giving Tree(s). You played a big part in this as well.

Family Fun Day was a success this year! Thank you to all the staff, volunteers, vendors, and donors for helping make this year's event a huge success!
The Summer Feeding Day Camp's last day was Aug 11th. The kids had a blast this summer. We'd like to thank the Ohio State Extension Office, the SCCTC Nursing Program, and everyone who came in and helped during the summer.

The Community Wellness Fair was held on June 13th. We had 16 local organizations set up a booth, and 49 people visited from the community. Thank you to all who came to this event.
The Hunger Walk was on June 9th. We had 31 walkers and raised over $2000. That money will go to the FreeStore Foodbank and come back to the pantry in food.
The Summer Feeding Day Camp started on June 5th. Registration is ongoing through the summer. Call PHM at 740-776-4004 and ask about the Summer Day Camp.
May 17th, 2023: Miss Westchester OH USA, Katelyn Zhao (IG:katierzhao), visited PHM today and helped out with distributing senior boxes.

May 4th, 5th and 6th, 2023, PHM held a yard sale and raised funds for Scioto Gives through the Scioto Foundation, in Portsmouth, OH.
